ADVOCACY
What & Why
We seek to be stewards of the sport, for automotive & powersports enthusiasts, their vehicles and the places where we use them. We seek just protections for enthusiasts, their vehicles, and motorsport facilities and venues.
We have studied pertinent parts of Texas law, namely the Texas Transportation Code as well as Texas Parks & Wildlife Code and have identified several regulations inhibiting or imprecisely addressing various matters.
By making direct contact with legislators, we aim to provide the missing subject matter expertise on our fields. We have identified current regulations (below) and are drafting amendments that will reduce misnomers, incorporate the latest advances in the industry, and enable riders to make appropriate use of the natural advantages of their vehicles.
The end state is to craft more precise legislation that best serves enthusiasts and the People of Texas.
